Pharmacy
In a Pharmacy, an Expired Product Is a Problem and a Missing One Is a Worse One
Thousands of items with different expiry dates, regulated products, suppliers that deliver several times a week and customers who expect the medicine they came for. Counting by hand cannot keep up.
How InnovanSIS helps
What We Set Up Around Your Day
Expiry dates tracked by lot
Products are received by lot and date, so a report shows what expires next and can be returned or discounted in time.
Fast sales with barcodes
Each sale reduces stock at the counter, so reorder points reflect what customers really buy.
Ordering from several suppliers
Items below the minimum are grouped by supplier, turning a daily rush into a short review.
Apps we use
The Apps Behind It
Odoo Community apps, the free open-source edition, set up around how your business works.
Point of Sale
Counter sales with barcodes, discounts and several payment types.
Inventory
Lots, expiry dates and reorder rules by item.
Purchase
Orders to wholesalers and suppliers with price comparison.
Coupons & Loyalty
Loyalty cards and coupons for regular customers.
Invoicing
Supplier bills and customer invoices.
We work with Odoo Community, the open-source edition. InnovanSIS is an independent company, founded by Cuban entrepreneurs, that sets it up around your business; we are not Odoo. Anything marked paid belongs to a paid Odoo edition or to custom work, and we state that before quoting.
Questions
Common Questions
Not by default, and we do not claim regulatory compliance. Pharmacies have strict rules on prescriptions and controlled products, and we would scope any custom work together with your pharmacist.
That usually relies on specialized systems. We can assess whether a connection is realistic, but we will not promise one up front.
Yes, from an export of your current system, tested in a separate database first. Barcodes and lots are checked before going live.
