Methodology
A Clear Method from Business Priorities to Daily Operations
Business transformation needs a way to turn an operational problem into a solution people can use. InnovanSIS follows six connected stages: Assess, Architect, Implement, Adopt, Operate, and Improve.
Each stage links the work to an explicit outcome, a responsible owner, and a decision about what happens next. The engagement defines which stages and deliverables are included.
Six connected stages
- 1Assess
- 2Architect
- 3Implement
- 4Adopt
- 5Operate
- 6Improve
Stage 1
1. Assess — Understand the Work and the Priority
We review how the business operates today, where the critical handoffs occur, and which problems have the greatest operational impact. We listen to the people doing the work and examine representative examples.
Typical outputs
Current workflow summary, problem statement, initial dependencies, and a prioritized opportunity list.
Decision to move forward
Agree on the business problem, the accountable owner, and the scope worth designing.
Stage 2
2. Architect — Define How the Future Workflow Should Work
We connect processes, responsibilities, records, controls, and system boundaries. The design clarifies who does what, which information is required, and how exceptions are handled.
Typical outputs
Future workflow, responsibility assignments, data and system mapping, release scope, and acceptance criteria.
Decision to move forward
Confirm that the proposed scope addresses the priority and that its dependencies and responsibilities are understood.
Stage 3
3. Implement — Build in Reviewable Increments
We configure, integrate, and develop the agreed solution. Reviews connect the implementation to business scenarios so issues can be addressed while the work is still taking shape.
Typical outputs
Configured workflows, agreed extensions and integrations, test results, and implementation documentation.
Decision to move forward
Confirm that the agreed solution is ready for user acceptance and operational preparation.
Stage 4
4. Adopt — Prepare People and the Operation
Users rehearse real tasks, including exceptions. We help document critical steps, clarify roles, and identify what must be resolved before the business begins relying on the solution.
Typical outputs
Role-based guidance, user acceptance records, data readiness checks, and a transition plan.
Decision to move forward
The business owner accepts the agreed scenarios and confirms readiness for launch with the responsible team.
Stage 5
5. Operate — Establish Ownership in Daily Use
The system needs a clear home after launch. We define how issues are reported, how business impact is assessed, and who owns routine operating responsibilities within the agreed scope.
Typical outputs
Support and escalation arrangements, operating documentation, and a visible issue backlog.
Decision to move forward
Confirm that responsibilities and follow-up work have owners and that the agreed stabilization criteria are met.
Stage 6
6. Improve — Use Evidence to Choose the Next Change
We review actual use, recurring exceptions, and agreed measures. Improvement priorities should reflect what the operation needs next and what the team has capacity to adopt.
Typical outputs
Performance review, lessons learned, and a prioritized improvement roadmap.
Decision to move forward
Choose the next bounded scope, revise an existing approach, or maintain the current solution while more evidence is gathered.

Make Changes Visible
New requirements are recorded and evaluated for their effect on scope, effort, dependencies, and launch readiness. Together, we decide whether a change belongs in the current release or a later one.
This keeps the project connected to its business purpose while giving useful new information a clear route into the plan.

Begin with a Priority Your Team Can Explain
Identify one recurring problem, the people it affects, and what a better result would look like. That is enough to start a focused conversation.
